Films are more than just story, they are a vision of an artist's Psyche. At the very least this film, though confusing and ridiculous at times, takes on a fresh vision of vampirism, to which I am glad to say; "Thank God I'm seeing something different."

And it's good!!! Forget about trying to make sense of it and just enjoy the ride!

Miike takes the yakuza & vampire genres & has mashed them together into one completed strange, gory, fun time. Give it a shot.

this is the best, craziest, bloodiest, goriest, and most insane vampire movie I've seen in a long time, and it's so over the top and ridiculous that you can't help but just laugh at it, if you took saints row, blade, and the already absolutely insane sunset overdrive and added a dose of acid and crack, this is what the result would be lol. the red band trailer and theatrical delivered on its promise of nonstop balls to the wall insane action and extreme gore, so action movie and vampire fans will have a great time with this one ;)

This is a waste of everything; it deserves negative stars!! Purely pathetic. i could have drove nails through my hands and had a better time… horrible!

This has to be one of the worst movies of ALL TIME! Please avoid at all cost it will ruin your day and your mood. Lesson re-learned

What did i just watch....

Overall, the movie seemed to be emotionally and physical violent. The fight scenes were good. It had great protential, but mostly it was an evolving process of depressing human behavior. Turned it off after watching about 35% of the movie. This movie is not recommended for people of great sensitivities.
