Description

    One problem with the movie is food grown in Martian soil absorbs the perchlorates. Perchlorates are formed in lightning strikes in the severe dust storms on Mars.

    this movie was sooo good!!! the acting was really good and also funny. matt damon did a great job playing someone who was humorous and yet a relatable character who would be stuck on mars. the score was also really good. highly recommend!

    While this was enjoyable I was disappointed that so much detail from the book had to be left out. Part of the intrigue of the story is the manner in which Mark thinks through and explains how he is going to survive on Mars. I do not find him as sympathetic a character in the film as he was in the book.
