Description

From the producers of The Purge and Insidious, comes this terrifying supernatural thriller starring Kevin Bacon (TV’s The Following) and Radha Mitchell (Silent Hill). When their young son (David Mazouz, TV’s Gotham) brings home five mystical stones he found on their family’s camping trip to the Grand Canyon, Peter (Bacon) and Bronny (Mitchell) begin to notice strange things happening in their house.     This is movie is pretty good. It has some good parts. I don't see why people were ripping on it. It really wasn't that bad. For a guy that has seen a lot of horror movies I think it was good. Worth a rent.

    Let me start off by saying that I'm a big Kevin Bacon fan. Ok, that's the nicest thing I can think of and it isn't even about the movie really. Don't waste your money. Dear lord, I wish I had listened to the other reviews. It isn't scary at all. The characters are annoying at best. The plot is long winded and recycled from a dozen other better films (Poltergist, Alone in the Dark, A Haunting in Conneticut, etc).

    This movie just show what is wrong with horror films. You have good actors but the writing is just horrible and the story makes no sense. I have seen horror shorts on film that are better than this film.

    Man, I love the cast, all of them. Seen their work in different genres, so I was kind of looking forward to it being at least moderately good, but no, it was beyond disappointing. I don't blame the actors, I blame the writing. Plot was terrible.
