Hillsong: Let Hope Rise

Love this movie!!!!!

This is a great view of what it's like to be part of the worship team.

There is no doubt in my mind that God is lending his power to these people spreading his word. Don't take my word for it watch, listen and feel his love in this movie.

The music sets the table; so to speak ; some narrow minded critics say the songs won't keep you awake or that they are a one-note wonder. Worship music opens your heart; it's not supposed to be adorned with rap beats and thump thump thump. Personally, I love the music, I connect with it, it causes reflection, and it opens your heart for the the Holy Spirit to fill you and lift you up. What's interesting is seeing how these worship leaders put it all together and how Gods word is delivered through them. And the musicianship .... they all can sing, they all play multiple instruments, and they all devote their lives to sing the word of God. THey are humble and modest, yet extremely talented. I can't see how anyone could find negative in this, but there they are, the naysayers that lack the full appreciation of what goes into their worship events, the message that is all positive, and the quality of work that the put out. If you love Jesus and appreciate music that will make you not only want to listen but want to sing at the top of your lungs, you will love Hillsong United and this movie. Dirt and Grace is another fantastic piece of work that deserves your attention. Don't be swayed by negative Nancy, see and listen for yourself, and I promise you will leave a different person filled with the spirit of God. Amen.

I cannot bring myself to write a review longer than to remind those who may be tempted to watch that Hillsong Church believes in conversion therapy for LGBTQ folk, among a great many other violent and destructive practices. However you may believe in the divine, only those who are self-important and lacking the essential compassion could support such a doctrine. For those looking for the way of God, surely it is better to think of empathy and support of your fellow humans above any juddgements of their lives.

Love the heart behind Hillsong Church and Hillsong UNITED. The film was amazing, super worshipful, and really honest. I love that the members of Hillsong UNITED are both the same offstage and onstage. I've personally met them before and they're just everyday normal people who are genuine, and passionate in what they do. All they really want to do is to share about God to the world through their music. I love seeing what God is doing through everyday, ordinary people. Hillsong UNITED's music has become the soundtrack of my faith.

God is so amazing that he can take a church youth group band from a country the size L.A. and use them to help lead millions to Christ. This country that was meant to house prisoners but God gave it a great blessing such as the whole Hillsong Family. There's no other name than the name of Jesus.

Ahh! This is the best movie ever! I was so so touched that I went back a second time and took my brother and thanks to this wonderful movie he has decided to follow Christ!! Love Hillsong and everything they do! ❤️

This is a must watch...seriously...

I just saw this like two hours ago and honestly touched my heart. I'm a Christian and what made me become who I am right now is this Amazing band that Jesus put together to spread the the Word of God. You can feel the presence of God in the theater while watching and honestly I'm buying it right now because it's just inspirational and motivational. I love God and I love how he's using this group to spread his word. God is good. Really recommend to everyone even if you're not religious. God bless you all.
