RWBY: Volume 5

Very good story

(The “penny” thing was not a spoiler). Season 5 is by far the best one! However, my one complaint is that Ruby didn’t ask about her silver eyes. She better ask about in volume 6!! 🌹❄️🌑☀️

To me, it’s become painfully obvious that V5 was rushed out the door and that Roosterteeth has far too many projects and shows and far too little time. V5, rather then fixing the problems seen in V4 and in the earlier days of the show, has only exasperated them. In stark contrast to earlier Volumes, fights are a mess, with characters either standing around talking while their foes watch and with people teleporting around. Also, it seems that the characters have forgotten to use skills abilities that were so integral to them. The plot can be equally dumb as well.

Definitely my favorite season so far! The animation is just ugh it’s so beautiful! 😭 love this show so freaking much

It really feels like everything in this show went downhill since season 3. Sloppy animation, failed jokes, little to no character development, too much telling and no showing, pointless scenes (because watching JNPR and Ruby sit around doing mostly nothing is what I wanted after the long journey to Mistral), and way too many inconsistencies. About the only good thing I can say about the new season is that it looks pretty at times.

This show was so good, I don’t know what happened. This just went so downhill.

Great season despite a few errors. Hyped for Volume 6

Definitely worth buying!!!! I’ve fallen in love with cinder, Blake, and Weiss. Can’t wait for the OST then season 6
