Description

Izzy Klein has (barely) graduated from college, broken up (sorta) with her boyfriend, and has a bad case of pre-real-world millennial-itis. Throughout the year, she falls in and out of some not so romantic romances, and figures out that when it totally feels like the end of your story, it’s often just the beginning.

Nothing about this film is engaging or smart or interesting. If you enjoy bad high school plays this film is for you otherwise save your money. I'm perplexed that it received a 71% rating on RT. Was fun for about 5 mins to see the excellent actor from Shameless in this film but even he couldn't save it from its amaturishness.

If you like a light rom-com combined with a coming of age story, this is a breezy story that's sweet and fun.

I WANTED to like this movie - Lea Thompson directing her daughters? What fun that could be. UNFORTUNATELY the film turns into a dime-a-dozen rom com that has no intriguing characters, no redeeming moments of clarity, and endless empty banter that is as soulless as a low-rated CW show. I can’t recommend this in any sense, it was excruciating to get through and a major disappointment.

I loved the film. It spoke to me on a personal level and I was really able to empathize with all the characters in their own way. Loved the score and the dialouge was outrageously funny. 10/10 would watch again.

Omg omg... I cannot recommend this movie enough! It was so beautifully written and put together and so very relatable on all levels! Pure poetry in some spots, laugh out loud humor in others; I went from laughing to running for a Kleenex box to wipe my tears ...and that was just all in one scene! Lol I’m not a Millennial, but a mid age mom; yet it took me right back to my 20’s and truly some moments I still go through now in my 50’s, which gives this little treasure of a movie a timeless quality. The young lady who plays Izzie, who also wrote and scored the film, is a true up and comer everything! My god, I laughed with her and she really touched my heart. She feels like a beautiful Parker Posey! Very smart, strong, quick and witty, yet so vulnerable. I often felt like a fly (on the wall)in her struggle as if I sometimes shouldn’t be privy to it; it felt that real and raw and relatable! I w Ted to be her best friend! Haha The cast was perfect! Just a magical ensemble and the direction felt like this really special indie of a film had millions to back them it was so well done! The direction captured all of those little looks, that raw honesty, that pain in your 20’s, the humor and fragility and beauty as well. Have a blast watching this; cry, relate, route for her, but whatever you do... watch it! Not to be missed!

It was cleverly creative, scored and sung by Maddie. Brilliantly acted by Maddie, Lea and Zoey and beautifully directed by Lea. Fast paced humor, poignantly touching and very really. Makes you think of this film for days. We love it!!!

An interesting and light-hearted look at Generation Z sisters coping with romantic relationships and family ties.

I thought this movie was great! The women in the film are quirky and it's fun to get lost in their world for a couple of hours. The characters aren't perfect (none of us are) but the ways in which they deal with their problems are relatable. Great movie for chillin on the couch on a night you just want to relax and have something light. I also love that they are actually family- mom and two daughters! And the soundtrack is super chill too. Enjoy.

I loved this movie so much. I have been a fan of Zoey's and Lea's for a long time now, but Maddie is a real find! Some really great moments with the sisters and I love so much of the dialogue about adulting - I can really relate. It's a super entertaining dramedy with heart and laughs -- and a fun bit with Jesse Bradford from Bring It On, who we all love!! Get your girlfriends together, open a bottle of wine and enjoy!

I really liked this movie! It’s great if you just need a happy, light hearted romantic comedy. Zoey Deutch is great as the lead
