This is a deeply spiritual movie disguised as a thriller. The scenery and cinematography relaxes you. The writing grabs you and doesn’t let go. The actors moved me to tears and laughter and joy. And the Writer and Director is a gentle teacher with a very powerful universal message. For me, one of sorrow, and much more important, one of tremendous hope and love. I can’t recommend it enough. Be prepared to have your mind, heart and soul opened. It is one of those movies that literally changes paths. It did for me and I hope you find it as beautiful as I did.

So great, very powerful. It has a lot to say about mental illness and life struggles in general.

If you’ve never been to northern Thailand, this movie should serve as a must see by the national touring board. It’s so beautifully shot that you can really take in the dynamic sceneries and be transported. As far as the movie goes, it’s an interesting take on mental illness and maybe what comes when we are done with this life. I liked a lot of what this film had to offer. Is it perfect? No. Is it worth your time? It is.

The movie is beautifully shot. Having had the chance to visit Thailand many times, I recognized the intention to show the heaven and hell side of things right of the back. There are other parts in the movie that are less clear, definitely creates food for thought. I’m going to watch the movie again this weekend - can’t wait to connect some dots. Real piece of art. And I like the fact that part of the proceeds go to support a non-profit on mental illness.

I know the person this movie is based on and its a great tribute to her brother. It also deals with both eastern and western philosophies while being a great thriller. You never expect the surprise ending. Great from begining to the end.

Some beautiful cinematography supports an exciting thriller set largely in Thailand that examines one mans struggle with depression and faith. Based on true events this is an unexpected and fresh take on this illness.
