The Lion King

Disney these remakes are a disgrace to the originals. I had a little hope for this one because the Aladdin remake was actually ok, but you decide to ruin one of the most popular Disney movies in the world! The acting was very bad. Simba didn’t seem sad when his father died. Scar didn’t sound like he really wanted revenge. Nala didn’t sound like she really wanted Simba back as king. Timon didn’t sound like the confident, carefree self he is. Pumbaa didn’t sound like he really took pity on Simba when you first meet him. The songs were awful. Beyoncé is not Nala and the fact that she sang can you feel the love tonight was just wrong, and I like most of her other songs! Timon and pumbaa could NOT sing it sounded like two robots were singing Hakuna Matata. Besides they ruined it with the “no im not you disgust me” line. The I just can’t wait to be king scene just wasn’t the same. They added this long instrumental break that was super unnecessary kinda ruined it. Circle of life was horrible the animation was really bad which was disappointing because it’s one of the greatest Disney opening songs in history but they destroyed it. Also they took out the whole Timon hula scene!!!!!!!!!!!! That part was so funny I couldn’t believe it when they took it out!! Instead they added a really flat “be our guest” joke that wasn’t even that funny. Simba wasn’t even cute!!!!!!!!!! I thought at least I could say that but Simba and nala were terrible. I agree with scar on this one Simba was seriously a little hairball! The rest of the animation was terrible no one looked the same it was awful. The first one’s animation was better. The first one’s music was better. And stop saying “this is for the next generation” it is not! The next gen can watch the classics there’s nothing wrong with that it’s wrong to watch this! What bugged me the most was that the whole movie was line for line with the original. Everyone said the exact same thing and the exact same movement as the original. If you watch the scene where scar is talking to the mouse at the beginning from the original and live action side by side, you’ll see the the words are the same, the walking pattern is the same. The only difference is that the original scar truly looks evil. So I do not recommend this movie at all it is horrid. While I’m here I’m going to beg Disney once again to not remake Bambi. Bambi is too good of a movie to ruin we just watched Midas’s die again who wants to watch Bambi’s mother die again? LEAVE BAMBI ALONE!!!

This movie caught my heart maybe not like the first but still had the expectation of the first animated movie. This should get a Second movie because it really was loved by people but who knows I wanna see how the second one will look.

I haven’t watched this yet, but I did see a play on a field trip a few years ago and it was really good!!! But the movie looks pretty fire

Ladies and gentlemen as you know, The original Lion King is one of the most popular and greatest Disney animated films of this generation. Anyhow this remake may or may not had some “mixed” reviews but at Disney they’re all about Magic and creating that Magic. What’s the same about the remake and the original version is that they both have James Earl Jones that voiced Mufasa. The soundtrack to this remake features Beyoncé with the song Spirit and Grammy and Oscar winning recording artist Elton John with Never Too Late.

They should do a live action of finding Nemo too

This is not the best Disney live action remake. James Earl Jones played Mufasa again and James’s voice was weak. I remember James Earl Jones with a strong and powerful voice. Scar is not evil. He did not look evil. The new scar looks awful. Scar doesn’t have yellow green eyes, orange reddish fur, or dark black mane. Jeremy Irons would’ve did a better job with scar. Be prepared from this was slow. Simba and Nala as cubs look cute. Timon and Pumbaa were funny 😀😃😄😆 Shenzi looked evil 👿 . Shenzi’s voice sounds evil 👿 . Banzai and Ed are not in this remake They’re names are Kamari and Azizi. The part where The lion sleeps tonight🦁😴 song had more beat than the original . The part where be our guest🍽🍷🥃🍴🥄🥂 part was so funny 😆 where Timon said be our gue- Ahhhhh! Timon scream like a girl. This movie is not the best. But the original will always be better.

I grew up with this movie! What did you guys do to it?? I walked out!! So sad and so pathetic
