    The most gorgeously animated of any Disney film ever created. This was the high water mark of hand drawn excellence and was far more complex than the classics that came before it. After this film took nearly a decade to make Disney started cutting back to account for a faster output and although there were some great and charming films in the 60s) (101 Dalmatians and the Jungle Book) none would ever come close to this level of beauty until the Disney renaissance with 1989s The Little Mermaid. Sleeping Beauty is not only stunning but also has the greatest and most terrifying of Disney villains ever created Maleficient.

    The original blu-ray had the frame rate or something out of sync with the animation. This version works great with all TVs. Watched in 4:3 as a kid. Neat to see the widescreen.
