Undone

The surfing was awesome! But it was probably a total of 5 minutes of waves and 50 minutes of BS. Did I really have to sit and watch you wait for a tow truck? Eating cereal? (That was ok in Black and White but I don't need to see it ever again). Painfully boring interviews. And a LOT of driving around in the dark (was that a metaphor or more waste of time). I really really really wanted to see this film - but apparently it was only those brief moments of surfing that were worth anything.

SO good. A production on parity w the top surf films of the last few years (awesome wide angle / close up shots, slo mos, expensive-looking drone footage, etc.) with the rare bonus of a compelling narrative arc not to mention an epic soundtrack. Beautiful, terrifying and honest. Will inspire you to want to get all the way out of your comfort zone and step up to a difficult challenge you’ve been avoiding. Her brother seems like kind of a kook but I guess that adds an extra dose of authenticity to the film. Well worth the $12.99- Can’t wait for the sequel!

Amazing fire and passion in a true soul surfer! Great film!!

This movie was a perfect mood lifter and inspiring to see Laura go for it. Keep making more movies like this one!
