Description

When so many are struggling for connection, inspiration and hope, Fantastic Fungi brings us together as interconnected creators of our world. Fantastic Fungi, directed by Louie Schwartzberg, is a consciousness-shifting film that takes us on an immersive journey through time and scale into the magical earth beneath our feet, an underground network that can heal and save our planet. Through the eyes of renowned scientists and mycologists like Paul Stamets, best-selling authors Michael Pollan, Eugenia Bone, Andrew Weil and others, we become aware of the beauty, intelligence and solutions the fungi kingdom offers us in response to some of our most pressing medical, therapeutic, and environmental challenges.

I have been waiting to purchase this on sale since before the outbreak, back when this very first released in 2019.. I’ve checked every week for the passed year. No real complaints though I just really want to watch this Lol
  • Right wing intrusion here.

This video is being targeted by right wing groups who are against decriminalization. The information here is important in its potential to impact people in need of powerful transformative treatment for depression. The way it works is to re-connect you to a sense of purpose and being by eliminating the ego which stands in the way of deep and lasting happiness. The world is ready. Mushrooms and psychedelics have been a part of all cultural development. From the people who built Stonehenge to the aboriginal tribes all over the world, humans have used such things to look at themselves deeply. The evidence is everywhere.
  • Don’t buy, hippies talk about taking shrooms

No science, no information about fungi. Most of “the information” in this “documentary” is from hippies talking about their experiences taking shrooms. Who cares? I thought that in 90 minutes I could have learned something about fungi. But I was wrong.

  • Good but Stamets needs to get his ego in check

Good semi-informative documentary about mushrooms. With all of Stamets psychedelic history one would think he would be a bit less egocentric - it’s a bit overbearing. This documentary is 70% about Stamets and his for profit business.
