Description

Secluded in a desolate forest home to little more than the decaying remnants of the past, a broken family is further torn apart by a mysterious death. Waste of money. Horrible. Not scary. It had no point.

A slow burn supernatural film. Not too bad!

This is a film that does not hold your hand (so unfortunately, the lowest common denominator of filmgoers are going to think this film is stupid. But no, it’s not.) Sator is a major achievement in both tone and sound design. It just looks great and it has a real grip on exactly what it’s doing. Is it scary...? Yes. Genuinely creepy, to say the least. If you like predictable jump scares that you can see coming a mile away... this film is not for you.
  • Slow and boring, not scary at all

I’m a huge fan of horror and was excited to see this movie. However, about 30 minutes in, I was bored out of my mind. Slow, painful, none of it making any sense.... and it doesn’t help that the main characters all mumbled their way through it all. The very end was the only “good” part about the whole movie. Please stop making these slow burners and calling them “horror”.

    Nothing happens, literally. Terrible movie.
  • Some nice visuals but no plot and horrible acting

I commend the production value achieved by this low budget horror movie, but it’s far too long and drawn out. There’s no real plot to speak of, and the acting is mostly poor.

Seriously. Huh? I mean what did we just spend 5.99 on? The credits just rolled and wonder if we both just fell asleep..
  • Not for jump scare horror fans

Terrifying psychological horror. Heavy on dark atmosphere. This is home made, indie art house. If you’re a fan of mainstream horror, I would pass on this. However, for fans of movies like The Witch and The Lighthouse, I highly recommend. 4/5 simply because it is so low budget, it’s not as good as it could have been if the guy had maybe 100k to work with. Yet the absence of funding is probably what makes this so intriguing.
  • Worst horror movie I’ve seen in years

Visually it looks promising, but this one was a waste of time. The concept of the film was a great idea that just falls flat. Nice try to the people involved with the film, but did you even really try? Don’t waste your money on this one or better yet your time either.
