Description

Siblings Mimi and Luke unwittingly resurrect an ancient alien overlord who was entombed on Earth millions of years ago after a failed attempt to destroy the universe. They nickname the evil creature Psycho Goreman (or PG for short) and use the magical amulet they discovered to force him to obey their childish whims. It isn’t long before PG’s reappearance draws the attention of intergalactic friends and foes from across the cosmos and a rogues’ gallery of alien combatants converges in small-town suburbia to battle for the fate of the galaxy.

I wouldn’t call this a horror movie. This is more of a horror comedy movie AND THAT IS MY FAV TYPE OF MOVIE!!!!!!🎥🎞🎬🍿📽

The concept and the storyline are promising, but the best part of the movie is the trailer, during which time one is lulled into believing that this is going to be a great homage to Goonies or similar. Nita-Josee Hanna works very hard to realize the potential of the film, but thin writing and uneven support from the rest of the cast make this movie irritating at best.

Give this a shot. If GWAR were a movie, it would be psycho goreman. This was the most fun I’ve had watching a horror movie since “the Stuff”. The characters are decently fleshed out. The acting is B+ level, but that adds to the fun. The humor is on-point. The puppetry is near Jim Henson level. This is a lot of fun. Where’s my money guys?

2020 was a strange year for all of us. This is a product of that. I strongly recommend this for any fan of 80’s style horror films that are fun and quirky and kid-centered. Think of it as a throwback to Monster Squad, Sleepaway Camp, Garbage Pale Kids, anything of that 80’s realm... He-man, etc. There’s plenty of gory fun and laughs, as well as some hunky boy action.
