I tried to watch this movie but turned it off after an hour. Thought I would give it a shot since there are so few new movies to rent right now because of Covid-19. Well big mistake as that is an hour I can't get back. Had high hopes since I love Ozark and Julia Garner. There is no comparison, it's brutal...Don't fo it.

I’m not sure if the other reviewers even watched the same movie I did, but this was really a gem of a movie. Beautifully shot and incredibly understated. These relationships and character development really had me hooked. Some of the lines, which I will not spoil here, will stick with me for a long time. I rented this for Julia Garner, but stayed for the whole world and tone that was set by the writer and director. This could have gone bad and into melodrama really quickly but it navigates the nuances of being human and being dealt a bad hand really well. It’s not a perfect movie, but it’s pitch perfect in so many ways. This was a joy to watch and be invested in.

Absolutely horrible movie, and at the end it just goes off on you. This movie was a complete waste of time, I figured I’d give it a go because I liked the actress from Ozark, but don’t be deceived!!!
