0/5 stars worst movie I’ve ever seen, I have never felt so intensely about a movie to write a review, nor have I ever fast forwarded through the slow parts of a movie. This is NOT a comedy, I didn’t go in expecting a comedy or a rom com I was simply shocked to see it labeled as a comedy after watching. Heads up the commercial is great it’s interesting and shows all the best parts, however that is not the movie. The plot, and overall message was not only odd and confusing but very disappointing. This could’ve been made soooooo much better, and I really wish I could get that time back, but unfortunately you can’t unsee something. If you’re into very artsy contemporary bleak and depressing view on society then maybe you’d enjoy this, unfortunately I usually do enjoy a movie like that, but where parasite did it best this movie falls short in multiple ways. It ruined my mood and my evening I will now have to stay up later to watch something else to get this taste out of my mouth. I sincerely pity the director/writer I believe he was going through something when he created this and I wish him luck in his future endeavors.

That’s how much I thought the ending was completely effed. I felt compelled to write a review. I sat with an increasingly incredulous expression of my face repeating “what?!”. This is not the movie I thought it would be, I wish I had read actual user reviews instead of critic reviews before wasting my time and money. This is a “I’ve been scrolling trying to find something on a streaming service to pretend to watch for the last three hours, but really I’m going to be on my phone and not pay attention at all” movie so you don’t care that the ending was what it was. You were not paying enough attention to care. It wasn’t bad up until the last 30ish minutes. So I’ll give it three stars, if I could I would give it 2.5.

This is a witty and original examination of modern-day self-inflicted oppression and how it bounces out onto innocent people. I loved that the film pushes aside a search for the source of the Stranger and focuses on the friends and their secrets and insecurities.

Don’t waste your time.

Loved this smart twisty funny twilight zone of a hangout movie. Cast is great and really confidently made. Great upside-down date night movie - and a very searing look at modern adult friendships and relationships. Loved this movie.

Other reviews called this movie a waste of 2 hours. That’s simply not true, as the movie was only a little over 90 minutes long, and just felt like 2 hours. Of that 90 minutes, I really want only the lat 20-30 minutes back. This movie started out interesting, bit as soon as you figure out that the premise isn’t actually the interesting premise you thought it was, everything falls apart. Utterances of, "Oh please!" "Really???" "Give me a f-ing break!" could be heard most of the last half hour in my family room. Some of the characters you really wanted to get to know could have made this movie fun. Instead most of the characters were flat and uninteresting and added absolutely nothing to the story. The trailer here was also very misleading. It made us think that the movie was a quirky dark comedy reminiscent of Knives Out or Ready or Not. Nope, not at all. This movie moves slow, offers almost no surprises, and isn’t remotely funny. Wait until you can stream it for free.

Worst movie I’ve seen in years!! Definitely not a comedy. More like a thriller or horror movie. I didn’t laugh once! Very weird movie. Wish I could get my money back.

At first I was like, “okay, I can get into this” story line went nowhere, I was left confused and kind of upset I my money on this. I really wish I could get refunded!

Slow starting but a good story. Leaves some loose ends. Enjoyable though.
