Description

Noah Cass and Eddie Ryan are both Marines who sustained injuries while deployed in Iraq. While Noah’s injuries are mostly invisible, Eddie was hit by two 7.62mm rounds in the head rending him immobile and with a severe Traumatic Brain Injury. In an attempt to relieve financial burdens and raise money for Eddie’s recovery, Noah embarks on a 145 mile run from his hometown in Somers, CT to Eddie’s in Lake George, NY. In turning to his all civilian training partners to assist with the run, Noah’s journey exemplifies the need for community and reveals the emotional, physical, and financial struggles many veterans face today.

I’ve known many veterans, but after seeing this I realized I had no idea what they were actually going through day to day. This is an eye opening look into the physical and mental challenges veterans face upon return home and an incredible way to honor the sacrifice of Eddie Ryan for our country!

This film was captivating from start to finish. We laughed, cried, and were left fully inspired to do and give more. The story and message is appropriate for all ages and has allowed for important conversations on physical health, mental health, friendship and purpose with our friends and our children. Thank you for creating such a quality film, and thank you to Noah and Eddie for your service.

I’ve always respected and been fascinated to hear the stories and experiences of our military members. I’ve had the privilege an honor to watch an earlier release of this movie and made the purchase to share with more friends and family to get the word out and show support. Many of our friends and family had trouble adjusting to civilian life and incorporation back into a “regular” life. This story is about as real as it gets, a true story about a fellow troop who has struggled returning from service and attempting to reconcile his past life. This gentleman found reason and purpose of how his past helped transform the person he is today with a renewed sense of purpose and drive. The bond of military brothers is something I can not understand as a civilian and this is about as strong as it gets. Noah takes us through his emotional journey to help reunite with a brother who through a miracle continues to experience and live life to his fullest with no regrets. Sometimes in life we may all get down and the connection with Noah and Eddie is inspiring and admirable. Eddie is a True American Hero! Happy to see the proceeds continue to support Eddie Ryan.

Noah ran more than 3 marathons in one day ! Talk about amazing ! Veterans need more attention and more help . It is insane how they must fight just to get the basic needs when they return from war.
