Legion of Super Heroes

I don’t normally write reviews, but this was horrible. The animation was worse than sub-par; I understand staying within a budget- but this should have never left the drawing board. I couldn’t even sit through 15 minutes of this. The storyline was totally pathetic. Come on DC. You’ve put out some great animated movies, but you have dropped the ball on this. So disappointing.

While the short lived series was entertaining I have been waiting on an outstanding Legion movie for years (hopefully this will be it) I am not a big fan of the "anime" style in animation and from the looks of this movie it will be in a more traditional style. As a long-time follower of the legion I would recommend attempting both style and story content from the Mike Grell years (circle late 70's) those were the best illustrated comics and story archs. Long live the legion! (Review forthcoming) After watching it, I found it still lacking, should have done the Great Darkness Saga, or the many Mordru storylines, one day WB may get it right.

I am not sure this is it. I wish the animation was better. It looks like stop animation.
