  • M Night’s best movie in years

I really liked this movie. It was very tense and intense. It kept my attention all the way to the end. Unusual for Night, it has no plot twist and did not even feel like most of his films. Very engaging story, great performances. I think this is Night’s best movie since The Visit.

This movie is based on the book by the title of "The Cabin at the End of the World". It has nothing to do with being "woke". The characters are the same as they were in the book but the entire story changed for the movie. It's worth a watch and I highly recommend it.
  • Not the best movie

The movie keeps your attention only because you are looking for some plot twist or thought provoking message. It delivers neither and you’re left thinking, “that was it!?” An unintentional unremarkable let down.
  • Good movie!

MNS’s movies are a hit or miss. After reading the reviews I was hesitating to rent this. 90 percent of the movie was filmed in one room which is the reason for 4 stars. The story is good, no A list actors, but overall I would recommend this movie to others.

Unoriginal plot. Predictable. This movie could be have been 5 minutes long. Don’t waste your time.
  • Silly, skip it.

Could’ve been much better without the forced Woke subplot.

    M. Night strikes again with another horrible movie. Way too much dialogue, Bautista constantly repeating the situation over and over again In His slow one tone monologue. Very predictable, for once M. Night didn’t have some over the top crazy twist at the end. It’s rated R for language, no gore at all. Camera cuts away every time someone gets sacrificed. The one bright spot was Ben Aldridge. He was fantastic, kept the intensity up a bit and nailed his role.
  • Total surprise in the best way!

I knew picking this movie out that it was going to have some kind of shocking meaning and twisted ending. What I got… was just that. It just keeps you guessing and asking if this is all true or a hoax. I enjoyed it and was left feeling a bit numb at the end. What would you do? In the same scenario. An M. Night Shyamalan film for sure!
  • Fun watch even though it is all so predictable

It is a good movie, I recommend it. The weird situation is strange enough it makes you want to watch it till the end. There are little surprises on what’s to happen, but it’s interesting to watch.
