Last Sentinel

Kind of boring. Lacking information of what’s going on. Had to force myself to watch the whole thing

This movie was really bad and should not have been available on Apple TV.

Spoiler they are stuck on a nuclear warhead oil rig platform only 4 people and the girl shoots everyone but her boyfriend just to be alone. The bomb doesn’t work either. NO ACTION, NO DRAMA, NO GOOD ACTING.

Not sure why they chose Greenland and Southeast Asia as the last large land masses after massive global sea rise (I’d have gone with the Himalayas, Alps, Rockies, etc). But, given the state of contemporary cinema, and all the horrible @&$# that gets released these days, I’m willing to forgive some issues with the “suspension of disbelief” factor. The acting is well done, as are the cinematography, sound, vfx, and general plot line. This flick reminds me a bit of the movie “Alien”, or perhaps “The Thing”—but without a “monster” being central to the plot line. Give it a shot, it’s far better than the garbage that gets high reviews on “Rotten Tomatoes”.
