Description

Avatar: The Way of Water reaches new heights and explores undiscovered depths as James Cameron returns to the world of Pandora in this emotionally packed action adventure. Set more than a decade after the events of the first film, Avatar: The Way of Water launches the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri, and their kids), the trouble that follows them, the lengths they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive, and the tragedies they endure. All of this against the breathtaking backdrop of Pandora, where audiences are introduced to new Na’vi cultures and a range of exotic sea creatures that populate the majestic oceans. Nominated for numerous Academy Awards® including Best Picture, the James Cameron-directed film became the third highest-grossing box office film of all-time and set a new benchmark for visual effects. Produced by Cameron and his longtime partner Jon Landau, the Lightstorm Entertainment production stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Cliff Curtis and Kate Winslet. Joining the illustrious adult cast are talented newcomers Britain Dalton, Jamie Flatters, Trinity Jo-Li Bliss, Bailey Bass and Jack Champion. I watched this in theater and every penny was worth it. I love this fun movie! Omigosh, I’m just remembering how good it was! It has everything you want in a movie! Now, when we talk about editing, this movie has PERFECT editing! It is so good and clear! This movie IS pretty long. But I still love. Good family movie!

I found this movie to be both thought-provoking and entertaining. This movie was a perfect follow up from the original story, and it added another dimension to the Avatar Universe.
  • 1st animated film to identify as live action

Aside from the fact that James Cameron only made this (and rereleased the first one and has three more on the way) was because he was salty when Endgame broke his record, it’s really not worth all the hype. It’s over 3 hours long and has very little action. First off, it’s did not AT ALL need to be that long, it could’ve been cut down a lot and not really change anything about the story, we didn’t need one of the kids (I bet you cannot name a single one of them besides Netayem) swimming around with a space whale for nearly an hour. Kate Winslet held her breath practicing for this movie longer then she was actually in it. Again, like the first one; great VFX, decent movie. But this one was really JUST an animated movie, there is so much VFX that it had to become the 4th highest grossing movie of all time to make any money. There are two humans, that’s it. Otherwise I would call this an animated movie that identifies as live action.
  • It was okay but…

I liked the movie, it was good but the part I didn’t like was the fighting part. It didn’t make sense. I was confused 😐 because jake left the big guy to drown, he was saved and escaped. I was like, “uh what”. But the part that really got me was when jakes oldest kid was shot in the heart and died. They were so upset that they lost a child. But the mother, well she went into a total meltdown and she changed, like the devil 😈 got her and she went total bonkers. I almost cried 😭. When their kid died, but overall, the movie was pretty great.

Thin storyline almost enough for one hour, graphics were cutting edge not dark can see even when night Achieved lowest common denominator Don’t pay more than $1.00 to see it It the same story as the 1 one
  • …ABSOLUTE WORST audio mixing EVER!!!

Dialog is barely audible unless you turn up volume…then sound effects almost blow out your speakers…makes watching experience very fragmented and unenjoyable.
  • Not bad. Fun to watch and takes you to another world

It’s not a bad movie. It’s very long but full of action the whole time. I think they did a great job on it.

People say that these movies are overrated, and I can understand where they’re coming from. But I disagree. I loved these movie.

The plot was very predictable and the movie was bland. I think they added some stuff that a didn’t need to. But the worst part is that the movie was soooo long that it gave me a headache. Really disappointed. Really, it was not at all worth it to sit in a movie theater for three hours and walk out not even liking the movie.👎
