It’s not special it’s not insightful or groundbreaking. It’s just torture and murder and glorifying sadistic monsters. If watching innocent people kidnapped and abused and killed and then a bunch of hillbilly thugs are celebrated as heroes is how you like to spend an evening you’ll probably love this. But don’t kid yourself, this isn’t some group of anti heroes victims of circumstance. It’s psychotic malcontent hero worship that apparently you’re supposed to be giddy about as they skin victims and kill cops. It’s not ironic or darkly satirical frankly because Zombie doesn’t have that kind of talent or insight. Basically if you see murderers escape from prison on the news and read about them victimizing anyone they come across and murdering anyone who gets in their way and it makes your sick little heartbeat start racing with excitement and glee you will find much to love about this exploitation garbage.

The Devil’s Rejects is one of my all time favorite horror movies. Between this House of 1000 Corpses, & 3 From Hell I can not pick a favorite as I like them all very much but there’s something really special about the Devils Rejects. If your a fan of zombies work then you will love this film, if your a horror fan then you will love this film. Captain Spaulding is one of the most iconic horror villains of all time now & his performance in this film is amazing. All the characters in these movies even though there bad guys some how zombie manages to make you root for them in the end instead of hating them hoping they die. Right now iTunes has a deal that for $20 you get all 3 films on HD & you get 3 From Hell on 4K HDR is definitely buy it if you don’t already have it. Also if you haven’t seen rob zombies 31 check it out it’s a great movie also.

As far as I’m concerned House of 1000 Corpses don’t exist that was the worst movie I ever watched in my life this was not that bad I’d actually say I enjoyed it had it not been a sequel to the worst movie ever made

Rob Zombie's only great horror film. The Devil's Rejects is a love letter to 70's and 80's horror movies. It has a gritty and realistic feel. It makes you want to take a shower after watching it.

If you like Tears of the Sun, 8mm, and Kids, you’ll probably love The Devil’s Rejects. Talk about all Black Hats, there isn’t a morally sound character in this movie. Even the cop is sick and twisted. You could expect as much from the title and the fact that it’s directed by Rob Zombie, but I had no idea how sick a movie could make me feel until I saw Captain Spaulding and his grown children go on their rampage.
