    Not spectacular, but Goodman BIG step up from William Bendix in "The Babe Ruth Story". Touches on his human flaws, but kind of lightly.

    I agree that the facts are streched a little however, I really like that it lets you into his life as a great pitcher with the Boston Red Sox I dont think people really grasp what a true talent the Babe was as a pitcher as well as the greatest homerun hitter of all time! All in all its hollywood but I really enjoyed it, stadium and uniform designs are well done and accurate! Does anyone remember the movie Babe Ruth NBC made in around 1991 or 1992 staring Stephen Lang? The best Babe movie ever made unfortanatly movie is not for sale anywhere but i do have it recorded on vhs!

    This movie was borning and not at all entertaining. It is completely inaccurate and even some of the events they put in the movie are quetionable by historical standards.
