If there ever was a movie I needed a cigarette after, it was this one. This is not your average, run-of-the-mill, jump scare tactic movie. No. This is a journey with Ashley Judd through motel living with drugs, paranoia, and confusion about what is and isn't reality.

Terrible movie. The trailer is a cop out. It's not what is advertised.

My brother and I rented this disaster several years ago… mind you, we still make fun of it today. This movie is so terrible and so bad, I beg you, please watch something else. This movie is not entertaining nor is it rewarding. Even if one reviewer says this is a movie about mental illness or whatever, its still a poorly done movie on mental illness. Its annoying and you will feel crazy by the time its over.

The worst movie I ever watched! Waist of time! The performance reviews might be good and ripe tomatoes but the story and entertainment value is rotten past comprehension! Yuck!

This is NOT a movie about drugs!! It's a voyeuristic view into the decent of madness perpetuated by schizophrenia. Agnes (Ashley Judd) plays a lonely waitress who's son disappeared 10 years earlier. When she and Peter (Michael Shannon) meet, it's clear that he is not well and Agnes is a perfect mate as she is a paranoid primed to be activated. This is Ashley Judd's most amazing performance and this cinematic masterpiece is clearly underrated.

If I could give this no stars I would cause this is a movie you would get if u watch it 75 times lucky I only WILL watch it ONE time only>:|

trailer makes it look cool but it was a snooze fest and mostly made no sense, extremly far-fetched and disasturously slow. picks up a litlle near the end but by then you're asking yourself why you bothered in the first place

With a low budget and a one room set, this film will wig you out! Call it Horror, call it a psycho-thriller, call it anything but expected. If you are hoping for a 60's Bug Invasion movie you got the wrong film. If you like psychological trickery and crumbs of a conspiracy theory, you might want to check this out. While it's not the best work of any of these actors ( Judd, Shannon, Connick ), nor the best of it's genre, it will keep your attention 'till the very end.

This movie is very bad! The ending is very good though..but only becuase it is finally over. Do like the gasoline scene..very F'ed up! If you are a fan of Ashley Judd and wondered why she dropped off the radar.. here is why. She gets naked, so not only did she lower her standards for movies, she also got naked. Ashley, what were you thinking? This movie is further proof that Harry Connick Jr. cannot act! Please stick to being a very well paid lounge singer.
