Description

An all-star cast, including George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Frances McDormand, Tilda Swinton and John Malkovich, come together in this outrageous spy comedy about murder, blackmail, sex addiction and physical fitness! When a disc filled with some of the CIA's most irrelevant secrets gets in the hands of two determined, but dim-witted, gym employees, the duo are intent on exploiting their find. But since blackmail is a trade better left for the experts, events soon spiral out of everyone's and anyone's control, resulting in a non-stop series of hilarious encounters! From Joel and Ethan Coen, the Academy Award®-winning directors of No Country For Old Men and The Big Lebowski, comes this brilliantly clever and endlessly entertaining movie that critics are calling, "smart, funny, and original" (Ben Lyons, E!).

Imagine looking forward to see a really good magician, one at the pinnacle of his craft. You are going with the girl of your dreams. You have had a great dinner. Everything is going your way. Ten minutes from there, you crap your pants in the car, while driving-with your date in the car. ??? Great actors✔️The Coens✔️Seeming great writing✔️still pfffft

The Coen Brothers's new film Burn After Reading is hailrious and the film is filled with classic dark humor to surpass the plot and storyline. There are flaws into making this film and the supporting/main cast is fantastic you get Brad Pitt, John Malkovich, Frances McDormand, Pretty Boy George Clooney, Tilda Swinton. All of those cast members each of them play good characters despite their lack of humor and problems they connect. Burn After Reading isn't just about burning books afte reading them (get it!) it's a film about false idenitiy, hailarty, violence, and the film feels like a stage because of how flat it is. But with all the humor and interesting character development in this film is presented it makes the story much sense. Watching these characters run in into each other is genius is what The Coen Brothers have in common with their other films like Fargo, The Big Lebowski, A Serious Man, Blood Simple, No Country for Old Men all these movies have some kind of connection with them because some of the cast members from the previous movies are in them just don't think about it. If you like Coen Brothers movies i think they focus on character development which works in some in their movies. But it makes the movie more cinematic, real, dramatic, smart and realistc. It's like your watching Burn After Reading like a sitcom because it's funny and all that dark humor is pintpointed throughout the whole movie it's just hidden there you don't know what's funny it's just there. I liked Brad Pitt's character Chad he was the gym employe that Frances McDormand's character was. And Brad Pitt's character not only gave a confident performence in his career but only his character had a lot of energy, charisma, confidence and overall he was the best parts of the film. Burn After Reading will be held to be Coen Brother classic or is it? Eh i don't know Burn After Reading is a misunderstood classic that creates tension, hailarty, good characters and it was bannnas i highly recommend this film it's funny because who wants to be John Malkovich?

It wasn’t really funny. This type of movie is for someone who has all the time in the world to waste and has no life. This went nowhere and was boring. Not even Pitt or Clooney could save this. 💤💤💤💤

This is such a stupid movie and a huge waste of good actors' abilities. I'm embarrassed for them.

Even for a Cohen brother's flick this is awful. Too much decay for me. Was thinking I would get a few laughs out of this.

Wildly witty mayhem as only the Cohen brothers can do it. It's a roller coaster ride of insanity you must see. We keep watching it over and over again - and you will too! Just get it. You won't be sorry.

I can't believe star actors participated in this movie. It was not funny, the plot was stupid, the ending was a joke and it was a waste of my time. Horrible and pointless
