Judging by the trailer I was worried it might be long and boring but I wanted to watch it because of Deborah Kerr. My only regret is that I only rented this movie instead of buying it, it was that good. It kept me interested right from the start and was not at all boring but very entertaining. Packed with action and adventure with some romance too!

One of my favorite adventure movies. beautifully shot and directed. Granger and Kerr have plenty of on-screen chemistry, and the mysterious Watusi who joins the expedition has an interesting story of his own. A classic.
