Clint Eastwood directs Oscar® winner Angelina Jolie and Oscar® nominee John Malkovich in a riveting and unforgettable true story. Los Angeles, 1928. When single mother Christine Collins (Jolie) leaves for work, her son vanishes without a trace. Five months later, the police reunite mother and son; but he isn't her boy. Driven by one woman's relentless quest for the truth, the case exposes a world of corruption, captivates the public and changes LA forever. This emotionally gripping story illustrates the profound power of a mother's love in "a mesmerizing film that burns in the memory" (Peter Travers, Rolling Stone).

  • It deserves recognition!

A young mother loses her child and tries to tell the police and when they bring home her “son” she instantly knows that’s not her child. She endures criticism and is even committed. It shows some of the most horrific acts that humans are capable of doing. It’s sad, great and awful all at the same time. It’s definitely worth the watch! Still one of my favorite movies to this day.

Very good story line . I love the time period and the walk to the gallows is some of the best acting I've ever seen!..definitely worth your time! Plus it's a true story..
  • What's the Point?

    By Rock Hound
Eastwood's slowing-moving direction of a simple unfolding of events goes nowhere fast. You'd think Eastwood would have learned something from his mentor, the good director Don Siegel. Siegel could knock out a masterpieces in 80 minutes (e.g. INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS, 1956). Eastwood's CHANGELING is like watching a slow-motion rehash of any number of old B movies about corrupt police departments. It's talky and boring. Don't waste your money.
  • Changeling review

Angelina Jolie gives an Extraordinary and Moving Performance. Changeling is a Sad but True Story about a woman who lost her son and never stopped looking for him. Bravo to Angelina Jolie, John Malkovich and all the supporting cast members, and also Bravo to Clint Eastwood for bringing this Tragic and True Story to the screen. Very good movie. 5/5
  • Very Good

Excellent and gripping but be prepared for a film that is as dark as it good. I was chilled for a few days after seeing this, very good, but horrible that its a true story.
  • Quiet, and extraordinary

Changeling modestly sidesteps a lot of dramatic tricks in favor character and realism, creating compelling intimacy and heart. Jolie is outstanding, as are the supporting cast. Recommended.
  • So Moving!! One of the best movie

    By Changeling, Amazing!!!!!!!!
One of the most moving movies I have ever seen. I would say that they content in this movie is pretty edgy, but its still amazing. To see a single woman fight for her son makes you feel so thankful for the life you have. I love this. I want to share it with all people! It rocks!
  • I Don't Remember Much About the Movie,

but I remember that I liked it. Angelina Jolie is not an actor I like, but Clint Eastwood's direction almost always does it for me. My husband liked it as well, and he's the type who tends to go for action and science fiction flicks.
  • What a great movie.
