They should have a tee shirt that says I survived the movie ,it’s slow ,very slow and not worth the two minutes of action right at the end of the movie had it on DVD ,watched it once ,dumped it in the trash

Haven't any idea why this flick wouldn't get 4 or 5 stars from anyone. Really entertaining..

This could have been the start of a great film series. Overall, it is absolutely first rate. My only issues: Jamie Foxx's perpetual look of sucking on a lemon - an unwaveringly flat performance - no emotions, like a kid pertending to be stone-faced cool. I also thought it was funny that both the leads got shower scene with a babe. It comes off like it was the result of a contract negotiation. ("If he gets to be naked in a shower wth a girl, so do i.") Even so, I would have loved to have seen a trilogy of films. This movie comes of as being extremely realistic and very intense.

Great movie! Micheal Mann’s best next to “Heat”. Just watch it. Well filmed, stylish and different from the series, as it should be. It’s serious yet enjoyable. Have fun!

it's the best folks

This movie failed to capture the magic of Miami Vice. It started with lousy music. I miss the original music, and the story was poor. Mann failed to hit the target on this one. I was sad, I was expecting something, and I left disappointed, and hungry for more.

I love the show but never seen the movie and I rented it but it won't let me watch on my mobile decide can I get refund iTunes it says I have 24 hrs and it only lasted like 4 hrs now I can't even watch it unless I buy it aging

Only watch this if you're hella bored. Nothing about this movie was done well. The sound was too low during some dialogues, the sound track was distasteful, and these and other factors all combined to make the actors look more amateurish than they actually are. Low quality movie all around.

Seriously, who cares in what format it was done. One can see that you don't even have to watch it to know that it is total garbage.
