Description

Eddie Murphy is the fast talking con-artist Rayford Gibson and Martin Lawrence is the conservative bank teller Claude Banks. The two are accidentally teamed up to become the funniest "odd couple" east of the Mississippi. In an effort to pay off Ray's debt and restore Claude's reputation, they travel south on a bootlegging run for some quick cash. There is no limit to their comical misfortune as they are placed at the scene of a crime and their mistaken identity lands them right in front of the judge. This hysterical comedy gives a whole new meaning to friends for life.

    I don’t understand how going to jail for life is a comedy. There might’ve been a few funny scenes,but overall this is very depressing movie.

    My all time favorite movie. You gonna eat your cornbread!? I truly just wish it had more and more and more. I dislike the fact that this movie ends at some point. Great cast. A must see.

    This is a must have Classic! This movie is in constant rotation in my Blu-Ray/Apple TV collection. The writing in this film is brilliant, and Martin Lawrence straight man give LIFE to Eddie Murphy's hilarious performance. You can tell this cast has done alot of adlibing throughout the film, which adds an element that makes the audience feel 'in on the joke' as if they were sitting there on set while these legendary scenes were being made. For the LIFE of me, I don't understand how anyone with an ounce of a funny bone in them, not find this hilarious! I HIGHLY Recommend this movie! ...and I have not even mentioned the supporting cast!!!
