    It took almost 85% to 90% of the movie before you actually got to anything remotely scary! Fear of the dark COME ON! Then when the "scary monsters" showed up...it was weak they could have done so much more with the scary monsters in this movie the "monsters" is the ONLY reason this got even 2 stars. I don't watch a "scary" movie for the bad acting I watch it for the graphics, costumes, blood, gore, and monsters...etc... when the director takes 85% to 90% of the movie to even start showing the monsters...what is the point of calling it fear of the dark? It was a very VERY weak scary movie. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

    The movie concept was good, but the execution of it was LAME. There was almost no plot, the acting was mediocre, and the visual effects were mostly bad CGI. I want 80 minutes of my life back. Rachel Skarsten will go on to be in other films, but the rest of the cast sucked too much. You're better off renting "Leonard, part 6."

    Great suspenseful thriller!!! I saw this when I was younger, and I was afraid to turn off the lights. Doesn't scare me anymore, but it sure did. It has a scary awesome story and is just a good horror movie!!!
