Description

Based on the hugely successful Nickelodeon animated TV series, this live-action adaptation is the opening chapter of Aang, the last of the Airbenders. Four nations—Air, Water, Earth, and Fire are held together by destiny until the Fire Nation launches a brutal war against the others. A century has passed with no hope in sight to change the path of this destruction. Caught between combat and courage, Aang discovers he holds the power to manipulate all four elements, and the potential to restore balance to their war-torn world.

Literally the worst movie ever. So many flaws Firstly why god hire m nite?!? His movies are nitch. He doesn’t fit this nitch. The animations is slow garbage. The casting is so backwards. In the entire time this film has existed I still haven’t finished it in a single go it’s so painful. I can watch the entire series in a single sit. M nite shame. This movie set back the entire genre. Hopefully someone buys the rights sticks to the source material and does it justice.

As an Avatar fan myself, I was super excited to find that after I had finished the series, there was a movie I could watch. After I watched it I was highly dissatisfied. The movie speeds through all of Book 1 and they leave out so many important events. I could barely tell what was happening because everything was happening so fast. The acting was not very good, and the bending sequences were long and more like watching ballet. And how come the firebenders can’t make their own fire? The mispronunciation of Aang, Sokka, and Iroh’s names kept getting on my nerves. No Kyoshi Warriors? This movie was not very well written and it does the series a major disservice. It was also lacking all of the humor and development I loved in the show. If you’re not a fan of the original show then I don’t think you would have a problem with it, but stick with watching the spinoff show if you’re a fan. Watching this movie is going to require a lot of cactus juice. I was not impressed. “But the effects were decent.” -S3 E25

Okay, Who made this movie? Out of all the movies I’ve seen, this is the worst one yet. How come some people put great reviews on this movie!? I would not recommend this movie to anyone. I’d give it zero stars if I could.

Simply terrible and disturbing abuse of an iconic tv show. Shame on M. Night Shyamalan for producing this terrible white washed garbage
