    "Davy..........Davy Crockett.....King of the Wild Frontier."- from the theme song. When I was a wee lad, my father showed me this movie on VHS and I loved it back then. I recently went back to see if it would still hold up.....yes it does. Even though this movie is a compilation of three episodes from the original Davy Crockett TV series it flowed naturally. Fess Parker to me is Davy Crockett [we will miss you Davy]. This film is truly a great frontier film. I recommend the readers of this review to check this film out..............now if only someone would fix it to a buy button..then we could get somewhere.
