Great movie! Story line was well developed. Had moments of extremely tense situations followed by periods of relaxation. For example: laying Limpet mines on a German boat, then compare to the boys eating breakfast. The contrast between the almost medieval existence of the Norwegians and the high-tech ferocity of he German machinery of war. The resistance fighters drove around on bicycles, or used their cross-country skis to hightail it to the border with Sweden, or use row boats to attach mines to the German transport ship SS Donau (the ship had been stolen from Norway by Germany. Had some good love angles, but they developed the characters and did not distract from the plot.

The movie stays away from clichés and entertains. The many subtle human details that are on the money: ironically help to make it a movie that you haven’t seen before.

An intense and enganging movie about the Norwegian resistance during the german occupation. Highly recommended!

An excellent combination of drama, action, and anticipation. The storyline is amazing, and the actors did a great job in this world war two era flick. This movie deserves more attention in my opinion. I give it a B+
