I first saw the mask of Zorro when I was five as a birthday gift in 2003. As of April 2021 I have seen this film more than 2000 times literally I have counted. And still to this day every time I watch it it’s like I’m not five years old watching it with bigeyes and in awww. Hands-down the best film ever.

Banderas was born to play this role. Amazing cast, good director, this may be the best incarnation yet. Only a shame they never made more.

I grew up watching the animated version of zorro and am so happy they made it into a movie with an amazing actor. This one and the sequel are the best zorro movies made!

There's a lot of great stuff in this movie, along with some stupid stuff. And one minor thing regarding the desire of the producers to "modernize" the character: If he doesn't have the mustache, he's not Zorro. (It's like Batman without the ears.)

The mask

This movie is wonderful! It has everything a movie should. Action, romance, comedy with great music and visuals. I have very fond memories of seeing it when it came out and I am thrilled to find it here on iTunes. Don't miss it!
