No primary sources, few experts featured, a lot of speculation and logical fallacies. Would not recommend for those who love historical documentaries

This was a good documentary in terms of laying out historical facts, until it got close to the end. Chronology and timelines would have made this better, along with more perspectives than the few people who were involved. Additionally, every time Dr. Umar Johnson would speak up, it was hard to take him seriously with his overexaggerated preachy style. Towards the end, the film went into this lengthy discourse about the buckbreaking and feminization of black men. This might have been better in a movie by itself, not amalgamated into Hidden Colors.

The most enlightening film I’ve ever seen in my life. Love learning more about our culture and where were from. Happy to see someone put together a superbly qualified team of historians and speaking the word to the people so we may rise from the ashes. Skee
