    Incredible performances by every one in the film. Some scene-stealing brief appearances by supporting actors, and SUCH a great combination of taboo-busting, tenderness, humor, depth…. I wish there were a hundred more like this movie. SO much better than I expected from watching the trailer. Amazing, and should have won a ton of Oscars. Great script, amazing directions. Never gets mired in the sentimental stuff, glad I took a chance and will be recommending to everyone.

    This is a sweet movie with just enough clinical reality to romance. Helen Hunt is definitely a big girl. I finished with more respect for her talent and depth.

    Unusually touching and sensitive portrayal. I was of course very impressed by the stellar performances of the leads, but I was surprised by the spectacular performance and sensitivity Macy displayed, and that in spite of the fact that I have always liked his performances.

    This movie truley warmed my heart. This story explained how intimate, emotional, mentally & physically involved you are supposed to be when having sex for the first time. In my opinion, this movie should shown to young teenage girls so that they know how and they should feel before actually having sex for the first time.

    Helen hunt is outstanding very touching story. Macy is terrific!Hawke is something you dont see but once in a blue moon from an a actor! I know the story I am disabled I can't even imagine the pain that man went through, but he did find love.this is not a movie for people who don'r know themselves sexualy watch the life of PI
