Iron Man: Rise of Technovore

I was so excited to see this film, Ironman brought to Anime? would be awesome, it worked for the X-Men, so why not IronMan? Well the animation is amazing, detailing on the suits are perfect. That aside, the plot is nothing more than a typical anime film, which would be good on it's own. But the way this one runs, it seems like Ironman was an afterthought, and added in to bolster the rental and sales of what would have been previously paultry film. Add in fan favorites, Hawkeye, Black Widdow and every comic fans favorite Punisher, and it will flesh out the story, right? nope. Punisher is in the film maybe 5 minutes, and his part is matter-of-factly to the rest of the story. could have been left on the cutting room floor. Hawkeye no longer has his quiver, but rather a Bat-belt like thing with self expanding arrows... Really? Wow he is a better inventer of all his arrows than I thought, or have ever read... Ok, so S.H.I.E.L.D. has a larger part in the film, but Nick Fury seems like an incompetant idiot in this. He makes no command decisions and rather outlaws Ironman rather than take on a world threat. Overall thoughts: If you like the Ironman comic books, do not waste your time. If you like anime, This one is for you, and you may even find yourself looking for new copies of Ironman in the local "Nerd Church" of a comic shop. Then learning to dislike this film, as I do.

I don't get the movie,and why does Rhodes die?

Poor diologue and plot development. Not enough character development. Villain is just weird and not entertaining. Follows a vague trail of a story, filled in by poor animation sequencing.

I enjoyed this movie and story-line. Well worth the watch.

This movie is very nice to look at! The plot is bad and the dialog blows. It's Ironman but really it's just something to watch while you wash the dishes.

Its not amazing, the first half is plodding but the second half finds its groover. Give it a go if your a fan of the comic book.

Great anime!! People who hate this aren't true anime fans. This is ANIME people. Stop whining. Not crap american animation. It looks beautiful, Is action packed and has a smart, interesting plot!!! People who don't get this or the villain are too dumb to understand Nietzsche...

The only problem I had was why did they bring the other supporting cast of heroes into this movie. I can understand the Avengers movie might have played a part in this but why the Punisher?

I love the genre, but I could not even get through the first half of the movie. Contrived plot, hammed up acting and ridiculous dialog...

it was a poor story and graphics. The animation was horrendous. The movie also was filled with a lot of holes with no sequel in sight to answer question.
