Description

If you were born in the '80s, your parents were the last wave of Baby Boomers. They, along with everybody else, were embracing the future with the personal computer. It was the decade of remarkable technology, Steve Jobs and Bill Gates became household names. MTV broadcasted the first music video. There was a home video store in every neighborhood, and Pac-Man was the best selling arcade game of all time.

Reviews

  • Weak narrative & mis-used filler content

This is a very disjointed, low budget doc on the 80s.The production uses oddly long content from a NASA Space shuttle short film, Reagan’s early state of the Union and a promo video from IBM. It then jumps to random historical occurrences at a rate of knots. It feels like the pacing and narrative of this film is all over the place. They should have employed a stronger structure to articulate the great decade.
