So many people say this movie is boring. These people don’t have emotion, but my heart is kept on my sleeve and this movie makes my heart grow

Ryan Gosling does a very good job playing a robber/caring father but the rest of the movie is tense, thrilling and really well acted. Bradley Cooper was good as a cop this film reminds of me a western but the period piece drama is wonderful.

Excellent movie. Sure, far from perfect or a classic, but it’s intelligent, mature, honest, well acted, well directed, entertaining for those who appreciate dramas. Now, if you’re into the typical Hollywood garbage that is endemic to most screens throughout this country, do bypass this altogether. You’ll find it boring, slow, dull.

If viewers either love or hate a movie, then there's a good chance that I'll love it. I just love offbeat, and unusual film. And, I loved this movie. The mood is dark and foreboding. There's a haunting undercurrent that keeps my interest. It's paced slowly, but to me, it was never boring. It was uncomfortable. And, I can watch it again and again.
