Absolutely a fantastic movie hire I gotta boys to go on a cattle drive with a salty old John Wayne in charge ,a great boys to men story 5stars

One again, unlike VUDU, Itunes is showing a pan and scan version ...butchering the film and this beautiful film!!

One of my all-time favorite movies, but I should have read the reviews ahead of my purchase. The beautiful vistas of the west are cropped out because someone (iTunes? Studio?) decided NOT TO PRESERVE THE ORIGINAL ASPECT RATIO. When will they realize that most of these movies will be watched on our huge television screens at home. Very disappointed. 5-stars for the movie, NO stars for the cropped imagery.

One of Wayne’s best films, but goddammit, when will iTunes stop cropping classic movies that are in Scope? This movie was 2:35 ratio, and iTunes has cut it down to 1:85.

i have seen this many times but it never gets old when you are bored you can watch it it is always my go to movie

Including true grit and the searchers, this is one of John Wayne's best westerns, and one of his best portrayals from a novel.

Perhaps one of his best performances of the 1970s, he takes boys and turns them into men. Some of the lessons here are rough, but all too common back in the day. So stop burning daylight and buy this, it's one great film.
