    “Blue” (the first color in the French flag) is meant to be a cinematic representation of the first third of the French national slogan “Liberty, equality, fraternity”. Freedom is hard-won by the protagonist in this 1st installment of the trilogy. But, viewers please do not judge this piece until you have ventured through all three installments. The pay off from “Red” is joyous and exhilarating. But, you cannot arrive at that moment of jubilation without completing the pilgrimage through “Blue” and “White”. Step out in faith! It is worth every agonizing step. As soon as you experience the great reveal in the third episode, you will immediately want to go back to the start and relive the whole odyssey all over again, but this time with focussed lenses. Do yourself the greatest of favors and work your way through all 3. If you love film as an art form and as an affirmation of life, you will not regret it.
