I seriously thought this movie was freaky as hell. I often have bad dreams I'm trapped somewhere where i have to dive and crawl out of spaces in order to escape and survive. So watching this gave me the chills.
  • A boring catacombs horror that is not scary

I mean come on i seen Blair witch project do better scares and thrills do better than this. Hollywood needs to stop following trends do your own thing and make horror famous great again.

Loved this movie, watched it so many times and it never gets old for me, the ending is so awesome as well, definitely recommend! It is filmed in a first person perspective though which my parents didn’t really like, so if you get motion sick, there may be scenes that you won’t really like. But overall for me, a teen who loves a good horror flick, it’s amazing!!!!!!

I was at the edge of my seat the whole time. I usually I take out my phone cause I’m bored, but I never did with this. Exhilarating from start to finish. I’d give it more stars if I could.

I rented this movie just out of sheer curiosity. So my expectations were for a jumpscare fest in the sub-genre of Found Footage. However, unlike most some Found Footage Films, this movie relied on atmosphere, setting, characters, and story. It is also light on the jumpscares (which is a bonus for me- it seems as though too many horror films rely on those now). SPOILERS (sorta) "As Above So Below" is heavily influenced by alchemy and Dante's infero (without insulting either of the two).
  • It's great!!

Sure, it's another found footage film but it sets a great creepy atmosphere and it's fun! I definitly recommend a rental at least.
  • A quality, thought-provoking creation of a historical legend

Loved the movie. Personally, anyone who "hates" this movie, probably does not like the found footage genre. It insterts history into legend creating a masterful and horrifying journey through the catacombs of Paris.

Loved this, the critics once again were wrong about a movie that tells a great story with lots of scares
