Sigh...I’ll never understand why some people never enjoy anything after reading some of these reviews. Think of it like Covenant, bad tomatoes rating, but 5 stars on itunes. Honestly I give this movie a big thumbs up! What surprised me was seeing Lin Shaye from insidious series. Story & Suspension was good, & hot girls!! I was literally clutching onto my blanket when the scares came in and I don’t usually do that for a lot of horror movies which I thought were dumb. So that means this was actually decent and screw the people who says different. Watch it yourself and then decide.
  • Rotting Vomit that accidently got smeared on a film reel

Let me tell you, the main actor, who was also in The Bye-Bye Man, is so painful to watch that if you ever see his name in a cast, just DO NOT watch that movie. The acting was awful, a poorly executed plot line, and all of the "scary scenes" are so horribly stereotypical that I left the theatre. TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY, TIME, AND THIS REVIEW THAT I JUST TYPED. DO NOT SEE THIS.
  • Is this even a horror movie?

I don't even know if this should be in the horror genre due to how unscary the film is. It has a crap plot line, cliche settings and scares (if that's what you call a scare), and is way too short. What angered me the most is the fact that I was actually excited for this movie after initially watching the trailers, and I was extremely disappointed of the result. Do not waste your money on this garbage movie. The only half decent thing about this movie is it's high production value.

This movie is not as bad as people say. It's not the best horror movie but not the worst either. It has some solid jumps in it, plus Lin Shaye, who makes every movie she's in interesting. Check her out in movies like the Insidious trilogy. Give Ouija a chance and don't listen to all the negative reviews.

Waste of money and time. I'm a huge horror movie fan and I was hating on this the whole time. Every single time something even remotely "scary" happens, you could see it from a mile away. Not even scary. Don't waste your time. Plus the plot is REALLY stupid.
