She deserved an Emmy for her role. She was my favorite character in the whole show and this was the best season.

If the true story follows this plot, these people are even dumber than the writers try to make them.

Bookeem woodbine gives an absolute flawless performance. The whole season is perfection.
  • Season 1 was more faithful

Two things: first, I won't buy from iTunes again because they still jam ads into the package. Same reason my wife and I stopped going to the theater. Second, I don't understand why so many are saluting season 2. Season 1 was far more faithful to the original conceit of the Fargo film - some poor sad sack gets in way over his head thanks to his emotions, and the rest of the show focuses on how his mistakes pull others into the misery. Season 2 is more like a mob film - a bit of Get Shorty + Pulp Fiction. It's a fine program, of course, but mob wars in North Dakota? Dozens murdered, really? We think the show has lost its way a bit and hoping for something more understated in Season 3. Oh, and we're simply going to record it on FX.

After the stellar first season, this one felt like a second-rate bore. There was little consistency between episodes (narration by a British guy for part of one episode, why exactly??) and an the teenage rock and roll soundtrack running through most of it. Oh, and then the FLYING SAUCER. Seriously??

I don't know what's up with the weirdos and their comments about ads. The ads are literally 5 seconds at the start of each show...5 seconds. As for the show, it is even better than season 1. I really enjoyed it.
  • So Tense and Engaging!

Few shows have the effect of making me want to watch episode after episode...24, Rescue Me, and of course, Breaking Bad were notorious for that. Since those shows have ended, there have been a lot of new ones to replace them...some good, some just meh, but none of them had that "marathon viewing" appeal. Then I discovered this show, and just wow! The cinematography is incredible. The acting definitely ranks up there near some of the best. And the tension throughout the episodes...especially Season 2...is almost too much to take at times. If you liked the shows I mentioned above and want something to fill that yearning for that next great TV show fix, then I highly recommend checking Fargo out!
  • The Best Filmmaking on Television!

This show is expertly written and shot. It’s better than any movie I’ve seen in the theaters in years! Also, I have no idea where the logic comes from to give a show a one-star review for the ads that the network decides to run. I mean, I could see knocking it down to four stars (I think that’s even a bit too harsh). Why punish a great show for the network’s choices? I don’t like the ads either, but it’s pretty easy to use this amazing technology to skip them and go directly to the show. Also, the performances in the show are great. All around fantastic work!
