Hitler, Season 1

I recommend this to those wishing to know more about the man and the times in which he lived. Solid production values, plenty of rare and unusualy photos and films, the experts aren't "overly dramatic," and the use of the Hitler double is minimal so we are not distracted by someone who kinda looks like Hitler but kinda doesn't. For 6 bucks you can't go wrong. Is it a minute by minute account of his life? No. It is general and meant for people with little to no knowledge.

As a 20th Century historian, why.... areeee we not able to be honest about this man in an academic and realistic way, the way we with Communist leaders? For every other event in history we gradually allow the propaganda to fade and gain rational, human insight; but this WWII European Front seems destined to be an ever widening gulf, oscillating between fiction, fantasy, ....well, you pick a genre and Hollywood has turned the greatest tragedy to befall our ancestral homeland into a Cash Cow. And I DARE Apple to publish this? You won't... bc this story relies on old footage dubbed with a British accent, bc... you know, the Brits, declaring war on another country bc one man (Winston) thought it his destiny; yet threw the rest of the Baltic States and Eastern Poland under the soviet hammer and cycle, all the while allowing the Soviets to invade and war with Finland, YET ITS JUST UNCLE JOE! Laughable, and you "historians" are nothing but a bunch of stooges looking out for your careers. This "story" the Anglo-Americans cooked up to get our boys to run into machine gun fire and murder their kin has GOT to stop. It's lead to EVERY SUBSEQUENT WAR ME AND MY BROTHERS IN ARMS HAVE BEEN LEAD INTO BELIEVING WAS JUST. Without an honest assessment of WWII we will forever be entangled in foreign wars at the cost of our childrens' blood and treasure. But hey... go nuts.

The first reviewer was garbage. You watch shows like this so you don't forget what happened. Without something like this peoples ideas of what happened get twisted.

Who in there right mind would want too watch a show about THE EVILEST MAN ON PLANET EARTH we already know what was in his mind.... craziness 😱😱😈. So sorry not sorry, I will have to past, Mr Hitler.
