Holy crap, every episode feels like a small movie perfectly balanced with story, music and action. same for season 1

The last kingdom is by far one of my favorite shows of all time. Every episode is a movie on its own with so many exciting events going on, fast enough but very interesting and thrilling. You will never feel bored watching it if u like this kind of shows. Unlike Game of Thrones, The Last Kingdom feels more realistic and keeps you on your toes the entire time. It would be a shame not to see another season! And in case they do another season, I hope they keep the same rhythm.

Love the period. So much history that we don't hear about. Loosely based. Still very interesting. I caught myself giggling with glee at parts because they were so good. This happened only 3 episodes in. Couldn't wait to binge the whole thing.

This is one of the BEST SHOWS ON TV. PERIOD. It gets it. On par with Vikings but with different personalities and characters. Just pure AWESOME.

I watched the first season and loved it, and thought it got canceled second season was even better. I hope this contiunes as the acting is stellar the storyline is excellent! It's like watching a mini movie every episode that's how well it is done. The historical persective is pretty spot on as well. I wouldn't say its better than Game of Thrones, much different, but the acting is on the same page that's for sure! Enjoy, I can only hope for a season 3!

This show is better than Game of Thrones. The subtle jokes that the character share throughout the show are hilarious. This gripping experience compels the viewer to binge the whole season. I honestly recommend this to everyone.
