This is the best show in the world. Maybe even the best show in the universe. If the afterlife is real, then I hope it’s like this! I would like to give a round of applause to Micheal Schur and the entire NBC crew just for making this TV show.

One of the funniest and most endearing comedies of the past decade. The characters are dead, which is usually the end, but their adventures through the afterlife make it a beginning. The central four who struggle through moral philosophy lessons in an effort to be good enough for The Good Place are immensely lovable. Guided by supernatural architect Michael and artificial helper Janet they fly through a set of game-changing circumstances that yield twist after surprising twist. Although it deals with serious subject matters the tone is always light and tender. After purchasing it with some hesitancy, never having seen it before, I instantly fell in love. Two months later I spontaneously watched the whole thing over just because it made me feel so very good. Smart and entertaining. Highly recommended!

The plot kept my attention but never felt hard to follow, the characters are well-defined.

Genuinely one of the best written comedies in years. Always funny and thought provoking in equal measure, with characters you’ll love to watch grow throughout all 4 seasons.
