….i am not convinced ethan hawke studied John Brown. Seems the actor saved time by accepting coaching, rather than invest serious study into John Brown’s personality… Brown was a Stoic, an inspirational leader, highly inteligent, and certainly not some nutjob, right-winged, evangelical, stereo-type as portayed is this tv series… no one would have trusted the character as portrayed. —————————————————————————— first impression is that this director relied and assumed waaaaay too much charasmatic evangelicalism as an element; severely tainting the character study. —————————————————————————— second impression is that this film is likely made by what are now the imbeciles supporting the fat orange chump in florida, who are attempting to ‘burn’ truth by saturating media and rewrite a version of our country’s history…. the actual violence by the virginia militia men was brutal, ignorant, and like today’s GOP, instigated by a retarded reality formed by propaganda from the super wealthy wanting fascist authoritarianism.

Excellent series…definitely one to own to watch at your leisure!

A great show, serious subject , but , with plenty of great humor. The acting , writing & cinematography are all outstanding! This show deserves more acknowledgement!!

I love this series Ethan is a superstar and Joshua beautiful acting I love it all I need more.

Such a good show. The acting, action, everything was spectacular and sadly not a lot of people know about it. A must watch.
