Description

Follow the Alaskan adventures of the Tobin family, as a single dad, Beef, does his best to keep his weird bunch of kids close – especially his only daughter, Judy, whose artistic dreams lead her away from the family fishing boat and into the glamorous world of the local mall. Rounding out the family are Judy’s older brother, Wolf, and his fiancé, Honeybee, her middle brother, Ham, and ten-year-old-going-on-fifty little brother, Moon. While their mother is not in the picture, Judy seeks guidance from her new boss, Alyson, and her imaginary friend, Alanis Morissette, who appears to her in the northern lights.

  • Make fun of people who live in Alaska?

This must be one of the dumbest shows I’ve ever watched. Anyone who actually likes this show has something wrong with them. And I can’t understand why is it funny to make fun of the harsh living conditions and people living in Alaska what sense does that make. And these are all actors that live in Hollywood in their posh mansions with all their private jets and private that. This show absolutely trash remarkably awful
  • I will never purchase a Fox show from iTunes again.

It’s been over a month since Fox has released a new episode of The Great North or Bob’s Burgers. New episodes keep airing, and I have paid to access them, but I don’t get them. It’s a rip-off, and I won’t fall for it again.

Why are you letting Hulu hold the new episodes hostage?
  • What's up with the episode delay??

I wasn't sure about it at first but this series is really growing on me. I get the same vibe from it as I do from Bob's Burgers, which is like comfort food for me. The more I watch the more I notice. However, I am wondering WHY EPISODES ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE FOR WEEKS AFTER AIRING ON TV??? I'm writing this 4/20/21 and so far Episode 8 (which aired 4/11) and Episode 9 (aired 4/18) are not available yet but BOTH ARE AVAILABLE FROM COMPETITORS. And Bob's Burgers season 11 is doing the same thing. That said, don't let this stop you from enjoying the show.

Three episodes isn’t really a fair shake for any show but I like it enough to want to see it succeed. If the third episode is a glimpse into how The Great North is going to work then I am excited. Look at how Bob’s Burgers started and where it is now, I think the influence of the writers who worked on TGN has been a big part of BB’s success. Part of why the third episode works so well is they really show they have a bag of tricks that we haven’t seen before and they already see the best way to use each character. That is really the recipe for a good show.
  • One of my new favorite shows!

If you like Bob’s Burgers, you’ll like this show, too! The Tobin family, led by single dad patriarch Beef, is endearing and will hopefully be around for a long while.
  • So dull and not funny

I love Nick Offerman but this is absolutely horrid. Dull and slow and tries way to hard to be funny and doesn’t even remotely succeed
