This series is brilliant. Virtually every episode I have seen I have enjoyed. There are seasons past though that I would love to view if they were available. Please PBS!

A collection of interviews with the survivors. It is good, but I expected more. Some maps, illustrating the position of the climbers for example. I got lost with so many words, and not graphical illustration. If you want to know what happend in the 1996 tragedy, go to the website of PBS, where you can see maps and really understand.

1.99 is nothing and could be everything. Support OPB and Frontline. Frontline is one of the only remaining consistant indepth, balanced, and informitive documentary sources left on the planet. Vote with your money, buy now, buy often. OPB why don't you put all episodes up for sale! What an amazing history!

Could PBS make this episode available? It was shown in 2006 and it is very relevant today but the episode is not available. Please have it available.
  • Thank you, PBS!

I am so glad to see Frontline on iTunes, and for a good price. I bought "Bush's War" to keep as part of history, and to help Frontline make up for the budget cuts.

these weekly episodes are often better than years of television news. THE CHOICE was the best piece and most informative piece i had seen on the election. the piece on hugo chavez does what the news can never afford to do...give you the history...tell you the story The background.
  • Great start, now for the mission

I see many positive notes here that I indeed agree with - the purchase of this program keeps it running and it is indeed one of the, if not absolutely the, best shows on television. Of course, we are missing seasons 1-25. I propose that PBS offer the current and immediate past season at the price point now list (about $2 per episode), but offer older seasons at no cost or a price much below the $2. The reasoning - older episodes are wonderful learning opportunities for the public and the more we can offer for folks to learn, the better the network is. Now that's an argument to take to an underwriter...
