Top Gear (US), Vol. 1

This show is funny and a great blast to watch. Top Gear UK is still my favorite, but Top Gear US has definitely found a space in my collection, and I'll be watching for more! 😃😃😃

Who said they were trying to compete against the original? No one. As a person who has seen every episode (and I do mean every episode) of the UK version, the US version is a welcome retreat. Sometimes you are sick of the UK versions disrespecting not only our cars, but us. They are a spinoff of the original. Yes sometimes they mimic the original challenges, but they make them their own, including using american cars. I will continue to watch new episodes and reruns. I always need a good laugh.

I love this show I never could get into the old one but this one I love everything my favs are the off roading

Top Gear Usa is more american than some people like it. But you know if you actually watch some of it for a while you might like it. I really did. I also liked the music they play in the backround in many of their episodes. I just do not understand why people hate this. Its like Justin Bebier vs Ted. Not many people like Justin but if you do not like it then why do people watch it. I don't understand that but i understand this show. Its about 3 guys trying to share their love of cars to people across the world. Sure they might not be as funny as the Uk version but its special because at least they try. Some people don't try in tv shows which is why they are not good but these people do which is why it is. Also does anyone happen to knwo the song in beater boot camp? 8:51-9:35? Thanks.

I really tried. But these guys just are not car guys. I feel like there dream car would be a Subaru.

I don't know how people think that the British version is better, this show is amazing and funny

I'm an American. I refuse to watch this dumb rip-off. Top Gear UK is and always will be the best! Top Gear US just makes me sad. Oh, so sad. It's impossible to have better hosts than Richard Hammond, Jeremy Clarkson and James May. It's just not possible. So I'll give Top Gear US some credit for having guests that I actually know, because I usually never know the guests on Top Gear UK. Top Gear US should just get cancelled and the History channel should just go back to being a channel with shows about History, hence the name. Top Gear UK for LIFE!!!

The show has some nice cars and the guys are interesting BUT there is something missing from the US version that the Brit version has. I have really tried to like it but it's missing something, chemistry between the guys maybe.
